TECHNOLOGIES

AERO TUBE SHAPES – gravel and aero can go hand in hand. SCOTT’s patented aerodynamic tube profile design has been applied to the main bike tubes (down tube, head tube, seat tube) to optimize airflow and reduce overall drag without compromising comfort and compliance.

EVO-LAP TECHNOLOGY – with the proper selection of materials, eighty percent of the work required to create a frame is done. However, the remaining twenty percent demands most of our efforts. For this reason, we choose the most advanced carbon fibers in the market, followed by intensive use of specific tools, such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, to create the carbon layup.
Using FEA software, we can simulate different forces on a virtual model of the frame and adjust the frame construction accordingly. FEA software allows us to create complete virtual prototypes that incorporate all the physical phenomena that exist in the real world.
With our Evo-Lap technology, we model the frame to optimize the surface area, simulate tube structures with different ply combinations, observe the results of various configurations, and analyze the load distribution in different areas of the frame. Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, we have optimized the carbon layers in all parts of our frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and thin-walled frame without sacrificing strength, comfort, or impact resistance. The entire ADDICT GRAVEL range has benefited from our
Evo-Lap technology.

COMFORT FEATURES – to ensure a controlled and smooth riding experience, we increased the tire clearance to 45 mm, reduced the length of the seat tube, and created a carbon layering that guarantees both optimal pedaling efficiency and enough comfort when the terrain gets rough.

MUDGUARD MOUNTS – the Addict Gravel 40 comes with well-hidden mounts for Syncros-specific mudguards, making it a great choice for a commuter bike as well. The tire clearance with mudguards is 40 mm.
